Genoa - The Vietnamese Embassy in Italy conducted several meetings and activities in Genoa as part of the Vietnam- Italy Year 2023.
According to Vietnam News Agency , Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy, Duong Hai Hung, met with Genoa's Prefect Cinzia Teresa Torraco and Deputy Mayor Paola Bordilli, discussing potential growth areas such as blue economy, seaports, and sustainable agriculture. The Vietnam-Liguria Business and Investment Forum was also organized, highlighting Vietnam's strategic location and stable political environment as key advantages for business and investment. Ambassador Hung visited Fincantieri Group, a leading shipbuilding company, and engaged in cultural talks with Carlo Felice Theatre's Director Claudio Orazi and University of Genoa's Deputy Rector Paola Dameri. Additionally, two photo exhibitions showcasing Vietnam-Italy solidarity and Vietnamese culture were organized, emphasizing the strong ties between the two nations.
