Government House, The Prime Minister summoned 'Anutin-Somsak' to clear up the cannabis issue before proposing it as a bill to end the conflict between the coalition parties. Before the cabinet meeting, it was reported that Prime Minister Settha Thavisin invited Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, and Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsuthin to discuss and end the conflict over the Public Health Ministry's plan to re-list cannabis as a narcotic, after the Bhumjaithai Party previously expressed its discomfort over the issue. In the discussion, the Prime Minister stated that he wanted the issue to be resolved by enacting a law to control the enforcement of cannabis, allowing it to be used for medical, research and economic purposes only.
