Germany, The final four teams for Euro 2024 have been completed after England beat Switzerland on penalties, while the Netherlands came from behind to beat Turkey and secure victory. Euro 2024 quarter-finals, England in white shirts meet Switzerland at Dusseldorf Arena. The first half is still tied 0-0. Then Switzerland got a ch ance to get back from a shot by Zeki Amdouni in the 120th minute but Jordan Pickford parried it away. After 120 minutes, the score was still tied at 1-1 and had to be decided by a penalty shootout. It turned out that Manuel Akanji of Switzerland missed the shot while all five of England's players scored, winning 5-3 and successfully advancing to the semi-finals. After the game, Gareth Southgate, England manager, said: Our team was under a lot of pressure from the start, but we got through it. We have to admit that all the players did a great job. It was our best game. We caused them a lot of problems. I am confident that we will lead the team to the final. At the end of the game, Turkey had a chance to equalize when Abdulgerim Bardakshi crossed to the goalkeeper. Semih Kiliszoi headed the ball into the goal, but Netherlands goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen dove to block it. The game ended with the Netherlands coming back to beat Turkey 2-1 and successfully advance to the semi-finals. For the semi-finals, on Tuesday night, July 9, Spain will face France.
