Parliament, "Nantana" shows vision for Senate President position, proposes 5 S. to connect with people, restore the image of the new generation of Senators, and announces to be a leader of change in the era, indicating that the 5-year term will not be in vain, but will be a council of faith and hope. Senator Nantana Nantvaropas stated her vision as the nominee for the Senate President, stating that in the past, the Senate has seemed to be a house that is distant from the public's perception. The Senate is not connected to the people and is not an institution that the people can rely on. These images are images that undermine the public's faith and are an important question: how can we restore the image of the new-age Senate? The people of the whole country will feel the ownership of the Senate only when we make the Senate a people's parliament. How can we make the people's parliament come into being? Although the origin of the entire Senate cannot be said to come from the people's choice, we are connected to the people who pay taxes as our salaries through the 5 S principles: Relationship, Communication, Creativity, Balance, and Universality. S. Samphan The new era Senate must connect with all groups of people, create a sense of ownership by opening the parliament area for the public to access. The public can come to listen to the parliament meeting every day that there is a meeting. The garden area is open for the public to exercise. The main hall is open for exhibitions of innovations. Set up a complaint unit to be a refuge for people who have been bullied by government officials or have been treated unfairly by agencies. We will be a proactive Senate that reaches out to the public by organizing the program "S.W. Listens to the People's Voices" and organizing forums for socializing and discussing with the public in every area of ??the country. The Senate of the new era uses communication as a tool to connect with the public. It communicates the work of the Senate through live broadcasts of parliamentary me etings, promotes live broadcasts of committees at all times, announces the results of all aspects of its work through the media, and will answer all questions from the media based on the principle that 'what the Senate knows, the public knows.' The new-age Senate will work in a constructive, transparent, and auditable manner, using the forum to debate issues that are social problems, starting with the inclusion of agendas that are beneficial to the public, controlling the debate impartially to reflect issues and reach a conclusion. This assembly must be a sacred space for the country with the power to summon government officials or politicians to answer questions to solve important problems, while respecting the institution and not evading as in the past. S. Samudran The modern Senate must create balance in society, open to all religions, open to all areas of sexual diversity, open to all races without discrimination, welcome people of all ages. The Senate is a place of equality. We respect human rights. We will embrace personnel to work and everyone who comes to participate with our Senate. The new Senate must be accepted by all civilized nations, have modern, democratic rules and regulations, be of international standards, and be a model for ASEAN countries, making Thailand stand gracefully on the world stage. Mrs. Nantana concluded by saying that the time for the people to restore the image of the Senate is running out. The decision of fellow members will determine the future of this Senate. Members can choose to be legends in creating a new history for the Senate as the one who drives the change of the era. The 5 years of the new Senate will not be in vain, but will be a council of hope and faith. Therefore, I volunteer to be the leader of this change in the role of the Senate President. I implore fellow members to join together in making the new Senate a council of the people and one of the main pillars of democracy with the King as Head of State. Source: Thai News Agency
