Bangkok, 'Jiraporn' followed up on the preparations for public relations and facilitation in the royal offering ceremony and candle lighting ceremony to offer blessings on the occasion of the auspicious royal birthday ceremony. Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, Pol. Gen. Kraibhun Thrawasong, Inspector-General of the Royal Thai Police, joined the inspection and meeting to follow up on the preparation of public relations and facilitation for the people at the ceremony of offering royal tributes and candle lighting ceremony to offer auspicious blessings on the occasion of the auspicious ceremony of His Majesty the King's 6th cycle birthday anniversary on 28 July 2024 at Sanam Luang. Ms. Jiraporn revealed that preparations for tomorrow (July 28) will be held all day long, starting from 06.00-19.19 hrs. The special thing this year is that on July 28-29, 2024, there will be a demonstration of the Royal Barge Procession in Honor of His Majesty the King, with buoys tied to it. The Royal Thai Navy has been granted permission to invite 3 royal barges, including the Suphannahong Royal Barge, the Narai Song Suban Royal Barge of King Rama IX, and the Anantanakarat Royal Barge, to be tied to buoys, accompanied by the performance of the Royal Barge Procession Poem at the Ratchaworadit Pier, 2 rounds per day, 25 minutes each, at 15.00 hrs and 20.30 hrs. On July 29, 2024, the performance will be held at 17.00 hrs and 20.00 hrs. Pol. Gen. Kraibun revealed that for facilitating the royal ceremony, initially, more than 3,000 police officers will be deployed to facilitate the entire royal ceremony. At present, it has been confirmed that the traffic route around Sanam Luang will still be closed, but traffic routes will be temporarily adjusted for about 15 minutes during the ceremony to invite holy water from Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkalaram Ratchaworamahawihan to the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace. As for the public who are interested in traveling to join the royal ceremony, you can park your private car on Rachini Road in front of the National Theatre, which can accommodate 100 cars; the old Government Lottery Office parking lot, which can accommodate 200 cars; Lan Khon Muang, Bangkok City Hall, and the bus station where cars can be parked.
