Ex-husband in anger breaks in and kills entire family of 4, 10-year-old child survives

Sisaket, Tragic! Brutal gunman breaks into ex-wife's house, shoots and kills 4 people, 10-year-old child miraculously survives by hiding in bathroom, while the perpetrator ends his own life to escape guilt. At 9:30 p.m. on July 22, 2024, the police were notified that someone had heard a sound similar to several gunshots at Ban Phatthana, Nong Phai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Si Sa Ket Province. The incident occurred at a house in Nong Phai Subdistrict. In front of the house, the bodies of two deceased men were found, identified as Mr. Pramot or Lawyer Pom, aged 39, and Mrs. Yokmani, aged 64. There were also two more deceased people inside the house, Mr. Boonluen, aged 62, and Mrs. Duangduean, aged 39, who were the director of a school in Si Sa Ket Province. There was also a 10-year-old boy named Chomphon, who was the son of Mrs. Duangduean, who miraculously survived by hiding in the bathroom inside the house after the incident. Asked, Ms. Dacharaporn, 63 years old, the wife of Mr. Boonluen, one of the d eceased, revealed that the perpetrator is believed to be Ms. Duangduean's ex-husband, and the perpetrator was a school director in Buriram Province. The two of them had lived together before and built the house where the incident occurred as their marital home, but later they separated because the ex-husband had a violent temper to the point of beating Ms. Duangduean, which caused frequent quarrels. Later, Ms. Duangduean remarried Mr. Pramote, a lawyer, one of the deceased, and after only 2 months of marriage, she moved into this house, causing her ex-husband to constantly harass and threaten the family. Sometimes he even handed out leaflets around the village, with the message on the leaflets saying, 'This house is mine,' which was the house where the incident occurred. Initially, Pol. Col. Phitsanu Watthu, Commander of the Sisaket Provincial Police, went to inspect the scene himself, along with forensic officers and investigation officers, to collect evidence to track down the perpetrator. Later, it was re ported that the perpetrator was Mr. Pathapi, aged 42, who most recently shot himself to death inside a black sedan in Prakhon Chai District, Buriram Province. The latest at approximately 1:00 a.m. on July 23, 2014, the police had rescue workers take the bodies of the four deceased to Sisaket Hospital for examination, amidst the grief of their relatives who were waiting to see the lifeless bodies of the four people. Pol. Col. Wisanu Aphonphong, Superintendent of Prakhon Chai Police Station, Prakhon Chai District, Buriram Province, along with a team of detectives, searched the house of the former school director who shot and killed four people and found three more handguns, not including the shotgun used in the incident. An initial inspection found that the guns were registered. An investigation into his history revealed that the perpetrator liked guns and had collected several.
