An incense offering ceremony was held Wednesday to pay tribute to the officers and soldiers serving in the ships with no numbers on the legendary Ho Chi Minh Sea Trail, in Ben Loc Wharf, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. The event, which was attended by the Navy Region 2 Command, local authority representatives, and veterans, marked the 60th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea to help with the transportation of weapons from the North to aid the southern liberation army.

The ceremony reviewed the glorious feats of generations of officers and soldiers of the ships with no numbers and their revolutionary heroism, a symbol of the Vietnamese people’s belief that nothing is more precious than independence and freedom.

On this occasion, the Navy Region 2 Command presented a model of an unnumbered ship codenamed C41 to the Loc An Wharf relic site’s management board and 5 gift sets to policy beneficiaries in Xuyen Moc and Dat Do district.

The Military Radio and Television Center on Wednesday night hosted an art exchange program to remind the younger generation of the feats of brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives to defend the Ho Chi Minh Sea Trail, contributing to the victory for national reunification in 1975.
